CS-Satellite: Intro

As a page developer, you can control the following:

• Which blobs and pagelets are cached on CS-Satellite.

• How long each blob and pagelet is cached on CS-Satellite.

You control the Satellite servlet through XML tags running on Content Server. That is, you do not place XML tags into CS-Satellite itself; rather, you control the Satellite servlet indirectly through Content Server. This chapter explains how to use these XML tags. Before reading this section, you must be familiar with the Content Server XML concepts described in the CS Developer's Guide.
