ICS.GetCounter

Gets the value of a counter.

Syntax

public int 
GetCounter(String counter)
  throws Exception

Parameters

counter

Name of counter to get.

Returns

Value of counter.

Throws

Exception

If there is no counter with this name, the GetCounter() method returns null. This will cause Integer.parseInt() to throw a NumberFormatException.

Example

The following example gets the value of a counter:

try
{
 int myCounter = ics.GetCounter("testCounter");
}
 catch(Exception e)
 {
  //handle exception
 }
